Who we work with
Each party works on Atlas ABS for its own reasons.
Each party to an asset-backed transaction carries a different exposure. The sections below state what changes for each when its deals run on Atlas ABS, and what stays with the party itself.
Warehouse lenders
A facility with the record already in place.
You extend the facility and carry the exposure. Atlas ABS holds the facility as its documents define it, on one record every party shares, with the backup servicer on file before anything goes wrong.
Your position
You fund the facility and hold the exposure. Between you and the collateral sit the servicer, the backup servicer, the custodian and the verification agent, each with a defined job and none of them there to act for you when servicing fails.
Where you are exposed
Facilities rarely fail at once. They drift: a report a little late, eligibility a little loose, collections a little slow. By the time the drift reaches a borrowing base certificate, it has become a decision you have to make quickly.
What Atlas does for you
Infrastructure for the life of the facility, shaped by structured finance veterans who know what drift looks like before it becomes a number. The aim is simple: fewer surprises, and earlier ones.
What stays yours
The credit decision, the advance rate, the terms of the facility and the relationship with the borrower. The platform records the facility, not the relationship.
What it means in practice
What a warehouse lender has once the facility runs on Atlas ABS.
- The pool's days past due calculated by the platform, and its concentration measured against the facility's limits
- Each period's collections and reconciliation on one record, signed off with the variances explained
- Fewer surprises at the borrowing base
- The backup servicer and its standby type, cold, warm or hot, on record before a disruption
- Covenant triggers tracked from warning to breach, each confirmed by a person and open until its cure is recorded
Originators and issuers
Structures that hold up after close.
You bring the transaction to market and live with its structure for years. Atlas ABS holds that structure as the documents define it, and gives your lenders and investors a record they can rely on.
Your position
You originate the assets, bring the transaction to market and stand behind it for its full life. Your lenders and investors judge the operation behind the assets as closely as the assets themselves.
Where you are exposed
A structure built for the day of close can fail in the periods after it. Lenders and investors ask how the operation behind the assets is run, and a record answers that question better than a description of a process.
What Atlas does for you
The operation your lenders and investors expect to see, without building it yourself, shaped by structured finance veterans who know what they look for. By the fifth deal, the infrastructure works for you rather than against you.
What stays yours
The assets, the servicing, the structure and its pricing, and the relationship with your lenders and investors. The platform models what the documents say.
What it means in practice
What an originator or issuer has once its transactions run on Atlas ABS.
- A guided six-step setup with a composite deal health score, without institutional implementation overhead
- A record your lenders and investors can be shown in diligence
- Automated reconciliation, signed off and recorded immutably
- Investors who see statements and deal health in their own seat, and factor files in the format capital providers consume
- A second facility that builds on the first, not from scratch
Private credit managers
The record behind what you finance.
You lend into and invest in facilities and transactions, and your own investors ask how those positions are monitored. Atlas ABS gives you an answer that can be shown.
Your position
You finance facilities and transactions across asset classes with a small team, and you answer to investors who ask how each position is overseen.
Where you are exposed
Oversight of the facilities you finance often rests on reporting you did not produce and on parties you did not appoint. When an investor asks how the position is run, the answer should be evidence, not a description of a process.
What Atlas does for you
Positions you can show rather than describe, without adding to the back office. When an investor asks what happened, and why, the answer is already there.
What stays yours
The investment decision, the terms, and the relationship with your investors. The platform gives no legal, accounting or investment advice.
What it means in practice
What a private credit manager has once the positions it finances run on Atlas ABS.
- A deal health score that can be shared with investors
- An investor portal that gives them transparency without investor-specific reporting overhead
- Eight named security systems: a credible answer to an allocator's security questions
- An escalation record that answers what happened at period seven
- Five currencies end to end for cross-border funds
Banks with securitization desks
Oversight with a documented record of every review.
You extend warehouse lines and hold transactions under the oversight of regulators, auditors and your own risk committee. Atlas ABS gives the desk one platform for the portfolio, and a record produced by daily operations rather than reconstructed for the exam.
Your position
The desk extends warehouse lines and holds transactions across asset classes, and answers for each of them to examiners, internal audit and the risk committee.
Where you are exposed
The evidence an examiner asks for is often reconstructed after the fact. Oversight of the lines you extend rests on custom internal tools that depend on the people who built them.
What Atlas does for you
Infrastructure built for securitization portfolios: multi-deal orchestration, Regulation AB automation, multi-currency processing and a security architecture designed for regulatory scrutiny, in place of internal tooling and key-person dependency.
What stays yours
The credit decision, the desk's authority and your regulatory obligations. Twenty-nine authorization policies decide what each user may do, under role assignments the bank controls, and funds continue to move on existing bank rails.
What it means in practice
What a securitization desk has once its lines and transactions run on Atlas ABS.
- Less dependence on the people who built the internal tools
- Regulation AB reporting with deadlines, overdue alerts and USD conversion for non-USD deals
- Covenant triggers configured against the deal documents, each breach confirmed by a person
- A portfolio dashboard across every active securitization, with a priority alert center
- Action-level authorization and an immutable audit trail, for exam defensibility
Servicers
The same precision on deal twenty as on deal one.
You do the daily work of the transaction. On Atlas ABS you do it the same way on every deal.
Your position
You collect, report and manage the assets, every period, for the life of the transaction. When something goes wrong, you are the first party anyone calls.
Where you are exposed
Every deal asks for the same work in a different format. Data is keyed and re-keyed between systems, and errors gather at the joins.
What Atlas does for you
Workflows for each servicer function, from collection submission and asset pool management to reconciliation and reporting, consistent across every deal on the platform. A servicer working on it manages more deals, more cleanly, with the same headcount.
What stays yours
The servicing. The platform operates behind the servicing boundary: it does not contact borrowers or collect payments, and you keep manual control of asset status.
- Structured collection submission with balance preview and amendment versioning
- Servicer advances tracked per asset, with aging and waterfall-integrated repayment
- Less re-keying between systems
- Backup designation and standby type formally recorded, with transition history
- Every action auditable, which protects the servicer at the boundaries between systems
Trustees
Your authority, with the proof behind every decision.
You verify, approve and sign off, often as trustee, backup servicer and paying agent on the same deal. On Atlas ABS each verification, approval and sign-off is recorded as you make it.
Your position
The indenture places the authority with you, and the liability with it: verification of every wire instruction before it is relied on, execution of the priority of payments, confirmation of covenant breaches and sign-off on reconciliation.
Where you are exposed
Wire instructions arrive by email or PDF and are verified informally, with no documented record of what was confirmed. When something goes wrong, what was done cannot be reconstructed from an inbox.
What Atlas does for you
The record your authority rests on. Credentials are submitted in structured form and checked three ways before you verify and lock them; the waterfall runs from a versioned configuration; each reconciliation is signed off on the record. A verification made on the platform is documented. One made by email is not.
What stays yours
The judgment calls, the part of the job that needs you. Less of the part that only needs your hours.
- A documented, repeatable verification record for every credential in every deal
- Covenant breaches with a documented cure and scoped escalation
- The waterfall executed from a versioned configuration, with a full audit trail
- Regulation AB reporting, where it applies, as a continuous operation with deadline tracking
- More deals on the same team
Investors
A documented record of everything you receive.
You hold the notes or the exposure and rely on what you are sent each period. On Atlas ABS you see it in your own seat: distributions, factors, payment history and deal health, as each period closes.
Your position
You hold the notes or the exposure and rely on the reporting you receive each period to know how the transaction is performing.
Where you are exposed
Visibility arrives when it is sent: a statement by email, a factor on request, deal health by phone call. Operational due diligence receives a description of a process rather than evidence of one.
What Atlas does for you
Direct visibility into holdings, distributions, payment history and deal health, in real time, without bespoke reporting. The investor sees what was done with its capital, and the record it sees is one no party can edit.
What stays yours
Your investment decision, your notes and your rights under the documents. The platform does not hold the notes or execute distributions, gives no investment advice, and leaves the trustee relationship unchanged.
What it means in practice
What an investor has on a transaction that runs on Atlas ABS.
- A cross-deal portfolio dashboard: aggregate balances, upcoming distributions, active breaches
- Distribution statements with per-tranche detail, and payment history with cumulative totals
- Factor files to six decimals, generated at period close
- Statements and portfolio views in a preferred reporting currency, with the FX rate and date footnoted
- Deal health: pool performance, delinquency and credit enhancement, closing versus current
Speak with a principal.
Tell us about the transaction and your position in it, and a principal will be in touch.
- The transaction: term, warehouse or private asset-based, and where it stands
- Your position in it: lender, issuer, investor, servicer or another party
- What you would like to discuss: a demo, the Design Partner Program, or something else
